Artists Residencies Care Homes: Dare To Imagine Report

This report reveals how embedding creativity into the daily life of care homes builds deeper connections, resilience, and a vibrant sense of community.

The Dare to Imagine: Artists’ Residencies in Care Homes report is the culmination of a two-year project (2019–2021) that brought professional artists into residential care settings to explore how creativity can be embedded into the daily lives of older residents and staff.

Produced in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the report offers a roadmap for care providers, arts organisations, and funders to foster adventurous, relationship-centered creative practice.
