Parties at Penfold Court started in February 2018.
Parties here are usually rather intimate, with a lovely view onto the gardens and outdoor fountain. We have previously enjoyed a fantastic winter evening of performances from our partners – local students from Royal Academy of Music (who are a stone’s throw away!) We also enjoy games and chatter at this party, with residents here known to enjoy telling stories of their days as Magician’s Assistants and working in theatre.
Penfold Court is an extra care scheme and community hub run by Notting Hill Genesis and is situated in the borough of Westminster.

Rosie says“I’ve been going to the cocktail parties for several years now, and hosting Penfold Court (a 5 min walk from Edgware Road) is the highlight of my month; I always leave feeling buoyant, knowing that the residents have spent the evening chatting, laughing and raising a toast in a colourful atmosphere that they wouldn’t normally have. It’s also fab getting to meet really interesting people outside of my ‘normal’ social circles – Penfold has no shortage of lovely, welcoming residents whose faces light up when they see you arrive to set up the party. One of Penfold’s more wacky characters includes a resident who was a magician’s assistant and professional razor blade swallower… come and have a G&T with us and I’ll introduce you!”
