We started parties at Norton House in 2015/6.
Norton House is a nursing home run by Anchor Hanover Group. Located very centrally – it is one of our busiest parties – so if you’d like to volunteer here, we advise that you sign-up early to ensure a space! Our long-standing Party Managers Charlie and Lindsay have been throwing parties here for many years and will make you feel warmly welcomed!

Our Party Managers at Norton House are Lindsay and Charlie!
Lindsay says “I started attending Cocktails in Care Homes parties in 2014 when the company I work for (Schroders) became a corporate partner of the charity. The parties are great – having a chat over G&Ts and listening to residents’ life stories (which are usually fascinating to say the least!) is a really great way of spending an evening a month!”
Charlie was featured as part of the BBC’s Do Something Great volunteer programme.
She says “I’ve met some wonderful people with amazing stories – like a lady who flew planes in World War Two. I just have a thoroughly enjoyable time, the hour flies by and I leave really happy.”
