Hugh has worked in the banking sector for 20 years, where he has performed various roles. He is currently the European Head of Sustainable Trade Finance at HSBC where he works with companies to improve sustainable practices in their supply chains and develop green projects.
Previously Hugh worked as an English teacher in Japanese public schools. He has been a volunteer for a number of charities and has mentored non-profit organisations through mentorsme.co.uk. Outside work Hugh enjoys cross-country running and scuba diving.
Favourite art form: Novels. I love the way the plot, characters and setting transport you to a completely different place and stimulate the imagination.
