Magic Me projects involve school students of all ages getting to know local older people, building stronger, friendlier communities.
Older people are often keen to develop their untapped talents and learn new skills, and their enthusiasm encourages young people to do the same. Less confident students, especially those with English as a second language, flourish with the one-to-one attention from older adults and surprise themselves with what they can achieve.
