We spoke to our Annie who volunteers with Cocktails in Care Homes at the Mildmay’s in Dalston about her time on the project:
“I love volunteering at Cocktails in Care homes – it’s a highlight of my month. I got involved after moving to London for work from Canada. I was looking for a way to contribute to my neighbourhood and feel more “at home”, and volunteering at two parties (Mildmay parties) has been a fantastic way to meet neighbours I might not otherwise meet. I think the parties are a two way street – Everyone gets a lot out of them!”
