Songlines

Singing East London into existence! For Songlines a mixed group of over 60 participants explored the aboriginal notion of singing the landscape into existence. Using this as a starting point, the groups mapped the local area (East London) and identified special places for the community. On June 13th 2013 the group took over Hoxton Hall where they sang East London into existence to a full house.

Magic Me collaborated with Spitalfields Music on this project and the performance was presented as part of the Spitalfields Music Summer Festival.
