Creative Mix

The new year brought the launch of a new three and a half year project, Creative Mix. This project aims to bring generations together using the arts and will include creative activities that can help increase individuals’ confidence and wellbeing whilst building connections across different faiths, cultures and backgrounds.

Funded by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Creative Mix comes after a series of Magic Me pilot projects between 2022 and 2023 at Pott Street. Activities will be led by a professional artist and will use making, sharing, storytelling and play in order to enable younger and older people to collaborate, connect and converse – and of course – express their creativity. At the end of the year the group will have a sharing event at Pott Street to celebrate what has been created over the course of the project.
