Parties at Lennox House started with a bang in September 2018 – popular with residents and care staff alike. Our party room has lovely double doors out to the garden and we look forward to garden parties come summertime! Highlights from past parties include our Roald Dahl themed debut party coinciding with Roald Dahl Day (as per the resident’s request!) and our Viva Las Vegas themed party. Recently a resident guest has been surprising us all with impromptu performances on his harmonica- while musical performances on the guitar from care staff accompanied by sing-a-longs from party guests are becoming regular occurrences! We also enjoy board games, balloons, bubbles and chatter at this party.
Lennox House is a nursing home run by Care UK and is situated in the borough of Islington.

JD says “I’m lucky enough to have grown up with all four grandparents in my life. Some of my fondest and strongest memories are listening to their tales as children and their adventures through later life. I realised that as much as I got from listening to their stories, they got from having an opportunity to tell them. When I found out about Cocktails in Carehomes, I thought the concept was brilliant. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some great residents who have shared their stories with me too 🙂 Cocktails is a great cause and I’m proud to be a part of it!”
