Jimena joins Magic Me as a Trustee in October 2021. She has a background in theatre and directing, and currently works in Learning and Participation at the Royal Opera House.
Jimena is passionate about community arts engagement and the key role that arts organisations have in providing valuable collaborations with local young people. She has two years of experience with designing and leading new projects as part of the education department at Opera Holland Park. Jimena grew up in and is currently based in Newham in East London. Having attended state secondary school in East Ham, she is committed to improving arts provision for local east end communities, specifically in music and theatre.
