We’re excited to share Magic Me’s Annual Report for 2023/24 – it was a year of growth, innovation, and deeper creative connections with our communities. After the challenges of the Covid-19 years, we focused on listening and learning from our partners to co-create impactful, inspirational projects across Tower Hamlets, London and Essex.
During the year, we explored the power of the arts to bring people together through projects including sensory experiments in care homes and intergenerational visual arts sessions in sheltered housing and our Pott Street home. Activities to enrich the lives of participants young and old by inspiring connection, creativity and new ideas – as ever, guided by our values of Creativity, Collaboration, Inclusion, and Thoughtfulness
A major milestone for us was joining Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of Organisations. As the only intergenerational arts specialist in this group, we’re thrilled to have core funding that allows us to plan confidently, grow our programmes, and extend our impact across East London and Essex.
We’re incredibly grateful to our funders, supporters, and everyone who partnered with us to make this work possible. Your contributions continue to help us respond to the growing needs of our communities, and we look forward to what lies ahead.
