It’s Volunteers Week 2019 and we asked some of our most regular party go-ers what motivates them to be involved in the Cocktails project. Annie tells us about her time on the Cocktails project:
“I moved to London and was looking for a way to feel more ‘at home’ in my new neighbourhood. I love that I was able to find Cocktails in Care Homes as it meant I could volunteer down the road and get to know my neighbours! The flexibility of choosing dates that work with your schedule is amazing, and I continually recommend the program to friends. I love the friendships I’ve built coming to the same parties over the years – the residents, staff and volunteers are gems!.”
