The View From Here - First Installment

Our first instalment of The View From Here is designed by artists Ben Connors and Amanda Mascarenhas. This first instalment was an opportunity to get to know those taking part, understand how they are feeling at this time and introduce the idea of working with a different generation.

This first instalment was an opportunity to get to know those taking part, understand how they are feeling at this time and introduce the idea of working with a different generation.

Looking out, looking in... Our artists have designed activities around the theme of windows. You may have seen drawings and messages popping up in windows all over the country in the last few months. Windows have become a way for us to connect with the outside world as we spend more of our time indoors. What does the world look like at the moment from your view? What does that view look like for someone else? We aimed to create a space to reflect on our experiences now, explore another generation’s perspective, and most importantly have fun

See our At Home Together activities page to download the first instalment.

About The View From Here is our response to the constantly changing situations around the COVID-19 pandemic, and is a new format for Arts & Ages programme over the coming months. The View from Here is part of our At Home Together programme
