Rebecca joined Magic Me as a Trustee in February 2025. They are an interdisciplinary theatre director, dramaturg, and creative learning facilitator from London. They are currently a freelance artist, as well as working part-time at Chats Palace Arts Centre in Hackney as their Community Engagement Producer.
As a queer, working-class, neurodivergent artist from the British Southeast-Asian diaspora, Rebecca is driven by community-building, representation and accessibility, and intercultural exchange in the arts. Their practice straddles borders and genres – including international projects spanning site-specific multimedia storytelling, physical theatre, puppetry, and experimentations with creative technologists, scientists, D/deaf hip-hop dancers, opera composers, and environmentalists. They have trained and worked with artists and organisations across Poland, Germany, Singapore, India, the Czech Republic, and the UK.
