Asma joined the Magic Me team in July 2023 as part time freelance Communications Officer.
Asma is passionate about working with organisations who use the arts as a tool for activism, connecting communities and improving individual and collective wellbeing as she believes in the power of creativity in achieving these things.
She has a creative background as an artist as well as previous experience working in communications roles in arts charities including RefugeeYouth in Croydon.
Asma is also the founder of an art collective for women artists from Global Majority backgrounds called RIOT SOUP and has worked with several organisations across London to create meaningful, diverse and accessible arts related events and programmes to a wide range of underrepresented audiences.
