Liane Harris is a photographer and arts educator. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, she embarked on a 15-year career as a free-lance photographer. For the past 12 years, Liane has been deeply committed to outreach, community and participatory art projects. She has worked closely with organizations including; PhotoVoice, The Refugee Council, The National Portrait Gallery, The Photographer’s Gallery, Bow Arts, and The Southbank Centre. Liane also runs Arts Awards with young people in primary and secondary schools. All her projects explore identity and self -representation, with emphasis on encouraging inclusion, empowerment and a sense of pride in creative and personal achievements, both large and small.

Liane has worked with Magic Me for 10 years, developing and co-facilitating a variety of long and short-term intergenerational art projects, most recently alongside Lehni Lamide Davies on the Arts & Ages Programme
