Susan's Marathon Run

At 3pm on Sunday 26 April, Susan Langford, Director/Founder of Magic Me ran past 26 landmarks on the London Marathon route (all within current government guidelines) as part of the national 2.6 Challenge.

Her goal is to raise £1,000 for Magic Me’s vital work bringing younger and older people together, building friendlier and stronger communities.

Donate now to Susan’s fundraising run for Magic Me, which brings generations together through arts activities: drama, photography, visual arts, music. In the current situation the charity’s work to combat social isolation and loneliness is more important than ever and Magic Me is inventing new ways to support people to meet, create and party together, even at a distance.

See if you can identify the 26 landmarks with our quiz sheet here.

You can find the answers here.

If you’d like to show a bigger version of the quiz or project it for the family you can download a powerpoint version here (the last slide has the answers)

Watch Susan complete the run in this video hosted on our facebook page.

One of our supporters, Ali also took on a London Marathon challenge – but in a rather more traditional way and with considerably more actual running! He had been training to run the London Marathon, due to take place on Sunday 26th April but now postponed to October. Instead, keeping within government guidelines, he completed 26km for Magic Me.  You can support him with a donation here.
