Isobel Lehr – Community Arts Trainee

Before Magic Me I was struggling in what path and direction I wanted to go in. Once I left college I figured out I definitely wanted to pursue creative arts which I had finished a course in. I wanted to put my skills and my passion for art into something amazing and it was just about finding options and a way to get there. That’s when I found Spear, a programme I went to for 6 weeks, they helped in many ways including: my CV, skills, job opportunities, experiences and more. Spear knew I loved Art and so they recommended Magic Me. I applied for the Traineeship that same day and I’m glad I did.

I came to Magic Me because I wanted to see what it was like to be a part of their projects and workshops as I was inspired. I was also interested in making a change in the community and the area I grew up in. I wanted to experience: being in a team, being more sociable, using my art interest in work and learn so much more.
