TRUSTEES AND CHAIR (These are voluntary roles)
We are looking for four new trustees including a Chair, to lead us into the next phase of our development.
We want our Board to better reflect the communities we serve, in order to broaden our thinking and bring richness to our decision making. We particularly welcome applications from:
- Black and Asian People and people from minoritised backgrounds
- People who are younger or older than current Board members – so under 30 or over 50.
- People with lived experience of living, studying or working in east London.
Our overarching aim is to widen the diversity and experience of trustees that make up our Board, to better reflect the communities we serve in Tower Hamlets, East London and beyond. With the exception of the position of Chair, previous board (or similar transferable experience) is welcome but not necessary. As a charity providing intergenerational arts projects, we encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and ages (16+).
To complement our current board of trustees, we are particularly interested in candidates with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: Chair of Trustees, Human Resources (HR), Care Sector, Charity Finance. You do not have to have these skills/experience to apply and we are keen to hear from a wide range of candidates and to find out what each individual can offer to broaden the diversity and experience of the board.
Full information on what it means to become a trustee, details of individual roles and how to apply can be found here.
Deadline for applications is 28th June 2021
