Sarah Watson


Sarah joined Magic Me in December 2017. Informed by her studies in visual arts, contemporary art history and cultural studies in both the UK and Canada, Sarah holds diverse experience across the creative arts sector, with a particular focus on widening audiences for the arts and the power of engaging in creative projects to nourish wellbeing, empower people and build stronger communities.

Sarah’s experience includes her role as Project Manager for a small South London based organisation focused on creative and wellbeing workshop programming for older adults in Lewisham and her role as an Artist Support Worker for the Camberwell Incredibles and Saturday Arts Club programmes for adults with diverse learning abilities at Cambridge House, a social action centre in Southwark.

Sarah’s previous roles include curatorial and gallery support at Glasgow based art gallery Kendall Koppe (now Koppe Astner), programming and co-ordination roles for local community arts and film festivals, support to Glasgow Women’s Library and previous Magic Me projects including their Artists in Residency programme in 2015-17.
