About the Project

The Go and See group meet on the first Tuesday of every month at Rich Mix for coffee and films. They are often joined by Care Home residents from Silk Court and use these get-togethers to plan outings in and around London.

Since the group started meeting in September 2010, they have visited the Olympic Park, Kew Gardens, Dennis Severs House in Spitalfields, The Royal Observatory, The Space on the Isle of Dogs, gone to an Arsenal football match at the Emirates and have taken a guided tour of the City of London led by a Magic Me participant. Most recently the group visited Stepney City Farm and took pictures of the animals and surroundings. They will be displaying them in an exhibtion at the farm in June 2013.

If you would like to join the outings and/or the Film Club at Rich Mix get in touch with Clea.
