Artists

Magic Me artist Julian West leads a Magic Me session

Magic Me contracts freelance artists to run projects in schools, care homes, museums, galleries and other cultural community settings. Artists are paid by the hour for planning, running and evaluating workshops. We also pay our artists to attend regular training and professional development workshops.

We have a pool of 30 freelance artists, and recruit on an ad-hoc basis. We're not currently looking for new artists, but if you're interested in working for us please send your CV and a covering letter to Sarah.

To join Magic Me you must have at least two years of community arts experience, including working with either younger or older people and preferably both.

We review CVs on a quarterly basis and we'll be in touch if we'd like to meet you.

"Magic Me is very special in the way it looks after artists and participants, and this comes through in the work, which is personal and unique. People feel valued" Magic Me artist
